Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup ricotta cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x14 inches thick enough to hold all fillings.

Mix Fillings: In a bowl, combine the mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.

Add Pepperoni: Layer the sliced pepperoni evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges for sealing.

Spread Cheese Mixture: Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pepperoni.

Roll the Stromboli: Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough over the filling, tucking in the sides as you go to seal in the ingredients. Once rolled, place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the top of the stromboli with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Make Slits: Use a sharp knife to make a few slits across the top of the stromboli to let steam escape during baking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Allow the stromboli to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
