Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cookie removal.

    Make the Brownie Cookie Dough: In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well mixed. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; the dough should be thick and fudgy.

        Prepare Peanut Butter Swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

          Assemble Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the brownie cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
