Ingredients

1 lb frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare Your Slow Cooker: Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or lightly coat it with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Add Meatballs: Place the frozen meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker, spreading them out evenly.

Combine Sauce Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Pour Sauce Over Meatballs: Carefully pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring they're well coated.

Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and tender.

Thicken the Sauce (Optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker about 30 minutes before serving, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Serve: Once cooked, stir gently to coat the meatballs in the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice for a comforting meal.
