Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz fettuccine pasta

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.

Create Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the sun-dried tomatoes and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. If desired, add red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.

Mix together: Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked fettuccine. Gently toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the pasta and top with fresh basil leaves for garnish. Enjoy your delicious Marry Me Chicken Pasta!
