Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray and set aside.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well-combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Incorporate the Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the texture rich and fudgy.

Add Chocolate and Fudge: Fold in the chocolate chips, hot fudge sauce, and chopped walnuts (if using) until evenly distributed.

Pour into Pan: Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool: Remove the loaf from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Slice the brownie bread and serve warm, drizzled with additional hot fudge sauce if desired. Enjoy!
