Hot Chocolate Lasagna

Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Layer:

2 cups hot chocolate mix (instant)

4 cups milk

1 cup chocolate chips

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whipped topping

For the Whipped Topping:

2 cups whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon cocoa powder (for dusting)

Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

For the Dessert Assembly:

1 package graham crackers

Mini marshmallows (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chocolate Layer:

    - In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the hot chocolate mix and milk. Continue to heat until the mixture is warm and the hot chocolate is fully dissolved.

      - Stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and let it cool slightly.

        Make the Cream Cheese Layer:

          - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

            - Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.

              Assemble the Lasagna:

                - In a 9x13 inch dish, lay down a single layer of graham crackers, covering the bottom entirely.

                  - Pour half of the chocolate mixture over the graham crackers, spreading evenly.

                    - Next, spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate layer. Repeat with another layer of graham crackers, the remaining chocolate mixture, and the remaining cream cheese mixture.

                      - Finish with a final layer of graham crackers.

                        Add the Topping:

                          - Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top layer of graham crackers. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings and mini marshmallows.

                            Chill:

                              - Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, to allow the layers to set properly.

                                Serve:
