Ingredients

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 ounces sliced ham

4 ounces sliced Swiss cheese

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey (optional for sweetness)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and honey until smooth. Set aside.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Spread a thin layer of the Dijon mustard mixture on each triangle of dough.

Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on the wider end of each triangle.

Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Starting from the wider end, carefully roll up each triangle towards the pointed end to form a roll. Pinch the ends to seal.

Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, with the pointed end facing down.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Prep Time: 10 min | Total Time: 25 min | Servings: 8 rolls
