Ingredients

1 package (15.5 oz) Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

12 oz green candy melts or almond bark

1 tsp peppermint extract

Red and green sprinkles, for decoration

Optional: mini chocolate chips for eyes or red candy hearts

Instructions

Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, you can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and the mixture is smooth.

Shape the Balls: Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Chill the Balls: Refrigerate the cookie balls for at least 30 minutes, or until they are firm enough to handle.

Melt the Candy Coating: While the cookie balls are chilling, melt the green candy melts or almond bark according to package instructions in a microwave-safe bowl. Make sure to stir every 30 seconds until smooth.

Coat the Oreo Balls: Once the cookie balls are firm, dip each ball into the melted green candy coating. Use a fork to lift the ball out, letting any excess coating drip off before placing it back on the parchment-lined sheet.

Add Decoration: While the candy coating is still wet, sprinkle red and green sprinkles on top. If desired, you can also place mini chocolate chips or small red candy hearts as eyes.

Let Set: Allow the coated Oreo balls to sit at room temperature until the coating hardens. Alternatively, you can place them in the refrigerator for faster setting.

Serve and Enjoy: Once set, your Grinch Oreo Balls are ready to be enjoyed! Serve them on a festive platter for a delightful holiday treat.
