Ingredients

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

4 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/8 teaspoon baking powder

1 pinch of salt

3 tablespoons milk (or non-dairy milk)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil)

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure there are no clumps.

Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until you get a smooth batter.

Gently swirl in the creamy peanut butter into the batter. If desired, sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

Microwave the mug for 30-40 seconds on high. Start checking at 30 seconds and remove when the brownie has risen and is set on the edges (the center should be slightly soft).

Allow to cool for a minute, then enjoy your fudgy brownie right out of the mug. You can top it with more peanut butter, a scoop of ice cream, or some whipped cream if you like!
