Ingredients

1 box (18 oz) brownie mix

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1/2 cup nuts (optional; walnuts or pecans work well)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix and all-purpose flour, whisking them together until well blended.

Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture using a spatula or wooden spoon until just combined; avoid overmixing.

Fold in Add-Ins: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using), ensuring even distribution throughout the batter.

Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop out the dough and place it onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Sprinkle with Salt: Lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each cookie for an enhanced flavor experience.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked. The centers may look soft, but they’ll continue to set as they cool.

Cool: Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy: Dive into these rich, chewy brownie mix cookies while they are still warm or store them in an airtight container for later!
