1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated to eliminate bacteria)

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup brown sugar, packed

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons milk (or more for desired consistency)

1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white chocolate)

A pinch of salt

Prepare the Flour: Spread the all-purpose flour on a baking sheet and bake it at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to eliminate any harmful bacteria. Let it cool.

    Mix the Butters and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy and smooth.
