Ingredients

4 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Whipped cream (for topping)

Mini marshmallows (for topping)

Chocolate shavings or sprinkles (optional for garnish)

Instructions

In your slow cooker, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.

Stir gently to combine all the ingredients until well mixed.

Cover the slow cooker and set it on low heat. Let it cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure that the chocolate chips melt completely and the mixture is smooth.

Once the hot chocolate is creamy and heated through, give it a final stir. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sweetened condensed milk if desired.

Serve the hot chocolate in mugs and top generously with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and optional chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
