Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces). Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Make the Coating: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.

Coat the Salmon: Dredge each salmon piece in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until sizzling (about 350°F).

Cook the Salmon: Working in batches, carefully add the coated salmon bites to the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the pan and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring until the sauce is well mixed and slightly thickened (about 3-5 minutes).

Combine: In a large bowl, toss the crispy salmon bites with the honey garlic sauce until fully coated.

Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving platter, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately with your choice of sides or as an appetizer.
