Crispy Honey Garlic Salmon Bites

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

½ cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes, roughly 1 inch in size. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Set Up Breading Station: In three separate bowls, place the flour mixed with paprika, another with beaten eggs, and the last with Panko breadcrumbs.

Coat the Salmon: Dip each salmon cube first into the seasoned flour, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with Panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated salmon bites on a plate.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Stir and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and set aside.

Fry the Salmon Bites: In a large skillet, heat about ½ inch of oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the salmon bites in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Glaze the Bites: Drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the crispy salmon bites or toss them gently in a bowl with the sauce until evenly coated.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
