8 oz penne pasta

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works great)

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets to the pot during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare Creamy Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pesto sauce and heavy cream. Stir until well combined. Add garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well.

        Combine Ingredients: In the same mixing bowl, add the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, blanched broccoli, and cherry tomatoes. Gently fold everything together until evenly coated with the creamy pesto mixture.

          Assemble the Bake: Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.

            Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is slightly golden.

              Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
