Creamy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

6 slices of bacon, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Once done, remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Leave the bacon drippings in the skillet.

Cook the Chicken: In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, and then add the diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and browned.

Add Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet with the chicken and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Make the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in the ranch seasoning mix until well combined. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked penne pasta, crispy bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Mix well until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy ranch sauce.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
