1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line several baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

      Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, blending well after each addition.

        Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

          Stir in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

            Shape Cookies: Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

              Create Swirls: Using the back of a spoon, gently press down each dough ball to form a thick disk. Swirl the tops with the back of the spoon to create a decorative pattern.

                Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. The cookies may appear slightly underbaked.

                  Cool & Dust: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar for a snowy finish.
