1 large loaf of French bread or Italian bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, finely chopped)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional: red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.

      Slice the Bread: Carefully slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.

        Spread the Mixture: Generously spread the garlic butter mixture across the cut sides of both halves of the bread.

          Add the Cheeses: Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread.
