Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

3 large eggs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup butter, melted

Optional toppings: fresh berries, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.

Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Press the seams together to create a single layer.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.

In another bowl, whisk together the sour cream, eggs, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Pour the sour cream mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.

Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and layer it over the top of the sour cream mixture. Brush the melted butter over the top layer of crescent rolls.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.

Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, topped with optional berries, whipped cream, or chocolate drizzle.
