Ingredients

1 package of crescent roll dough

8 breakfast sausages (links or patties, cooked)

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

1/2 cup scrambled eggs (about 2 large eggs)

1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Pinch the seams together to create a solid sheet for better wrapping.

Make the Filling: In a bowl, mix the cooked scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assemble: Cut the dough into rectangles that are large enough to fully wrap each sausage. Place a cooked breakfast sausage at one end of the rectangle, and spoon a bit of the egg and cheese mixture on top. Roll the dough to enclose the sausage and topping completely.

Bake: Place the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, maybe with a side of your favorite dipping sauce!
