Ingredients

8 oz ramen noodles (fresh or dried)

1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prep the Noodles: Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Blanch the Broccoli: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the broccoli florets. Blanch for about 2 minutes until bright green, then immediately transfer to an ice bath. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Sauté Veggies: In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then add the sliced red bell pepper and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Combine Everything: Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked ramen, and stir to combine. Drizzle with sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
