Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet (this helps with even cooking and crispiness).

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, smoked paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until fully blended.

Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a mixing bowl. Pour half of the marinade over the wings, ensuring they're well coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Coat the Wings: After marinating, remove the wings from the refrigerator. In a separate bowl, toss the wings with olive oil for extra crispiness.

Bake the Wings: Place the coated wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

Glaze the Wings: While the wings are baking, simmer the remaining marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, allowing it to thicken.

Finish and Serve: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and brush them generously with the thickened marinade. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.

Garnish and Enjoy: Remove the wings from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
